Dubai Lingerie Shopping

In fact, Dubai is rapidly establishing itself in the minds of shoppers everywhere. With the pull of that elusive bargain on a designer suit and tie, many are drawn to Dubai’s markets in search of an outfit that will make all those they left back home sorry they had not made the trip as well! One type of clothing holds a certain pull even for those native residents of Dubai; lingerie. For some reason many will never know, Dubai has become a hub of lingerie sales and trade, making it the destination of choice for purveyors of these nighttime delicacies.

There are a multitude of shops and boutiques catering to those who are interested only in buying and admiring of the lingerie on display. Brands available include but are not limited to Lala Rose & Miss Lala, Agent Provocateur, AMCO Sleepwear, Marks and Spencer, and many more. Most shops are located in the buildings of the Dubai World Trade Center, or the Burjman Center, both very active areas in the buying and selling of many kinds of goods and services in Dubai. Some shops sell more than just slinky silken bits more suited to a night of passion; sales of women’s sleepwear and daywear as well as maternity undergarments are big sellers as well.

Dubai LingerieShoppers who are on the lookout for something a little out of the ordinary when shopping in Dubai might wish to make a visit to either the Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall or The Village.  Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall now enjoys the privileged status as Dubai’s second largest shopping mall and is located a little ways off the well-traveled path, but continues to draw in the shoppers with the promise of its five themed shopping zones. The design of the mall shows obvious influences ranging from Moroccan to Chinese, Indian to Persian. These make it especially fun and a funky place to visit. It is home to quite a few of the larger international chain stores as well as a few exclusive outlets. The Village offers a fresh perspective and some refreshing change Dubai’s shopping crowd because instead of chain retail stores and international chains of restaurants it is instead home to a variety of independent shops and businesses. The local publication of “Time Out Dubai” made a statement that describes The Village to perfection: “The Village is an avant-garde shopaholic’s dream”.  The Village is one of Dubai’s shopping attractions that are certainly not one to be missed.

If you are going to live in Dubai, or even if you are just taking a well-deserved vacation, you would survive just fine if you were to leave all your possessions behind and start over when you arrive! Prices in Dubai are so attractive because everything is sold free of tax and import duties. This makes finding anything from that perfect cocktail dress to the lingerie you will wear under it for your special night out on the town as easy as if you had brought along a personal shopper!
