When you land at the Doha International Airport, many of us may be mistaken into thinking that you have landed at an international metropolitan airport. The Qatar National Bank provides ATM facilities at the Doha International Airport in the departure and arrival halls. Money exchange facilities are also provided here. WiFi services have been provided at many points in the airport. There are two places at the airport, which are equipped with a number of computers that provide free internet services. If you still have time before boarding, then you could go into the Oryx Lounge and relax. It is a premium lounge with a 164-seating capacity for the exclusive use of the first class and business class passengers.
Privilege Club Gold members can avail five star facilities at the Gold Lounge, which is located in the main terminal area of the Doha International Airport. These facilities include a Business Centre, which provides the travelers with round the clock internet access for free; buffet breakfast, lunch or dinner; newspaper and magazine section; a separately designated smoking area; bathroom facilities and luggage storage facilities. The member is also entitled to bring a guest to the gold Lounge, but the guest should be travelling in the same Qatar Airways flight as the card holder. Privilege Club Silver can enjoy similar facilities as the Club Gold members in the Silver Lounge.
There is a hall for the physically-challenged persons at Qatar airport and flights can be boarded with the help of airport employees to take care of their needs. They are there to help them in providing care and taking care of the traveling procedures which will ensure them a free and happy traveling.
You should remember that smoking is forbidden in the airport (except in the smoking area located in the airport). The Qatari law is very strict about smoking outside designated areas. An offender can be fined up to USD 150, or 6 months imprisonment, or both the penalties could be levied.
