Top Hotels in Saudi Arabia

Over 50 good hotels are provided in Saudi Arabia for travellers, with 15 hotels available in Riyadh, and 26 in Jeddah alone. Mecca has 12 hotels catering for visitors and Taif has one, off the Al-hada Ring Road. Taif is situated 70km from Mecca and is a very old city which is considered to be the summer resort of Saudi Arabia. Although the Hotel Al-Hada was first built in 1978, it has since been renovated to become a luxury hotel. The hotel is situated 11 miles from the town centre, with the Al Shafa Mountains just 22 miles away. There are two great places of interest which the children will love: the first is the Al Ruddaf Children’s Park Zoo which is just 16 miles away and the second is the King Fahd Children’s Park, comparatively quite close to the hotel, just 8 miles away.

Saudi Arabia HotelsIn Jeddah there are more selection of hotels, from the Al-Baia Hotel on the Maydan al-baya in the Mahallet al-sham district of Jeddah to the Ba’najah Hotel in the Bab Sharif District. This hotel is also directly next door to the Tysir Hotel and has two quite good restaurants quite close by, within walking distance.  The Ba’najah Hotel is a four star hotel, quite new, and considered quite good value. The rooms are not vast, but acceptable and the design is acceptable. Another one, the Al-Baia Hotel consists of 24 bedrooms, some of which look out over Al-Arbaeen Lagoon. The rooms are well-furnished, some with balconies and all the prices are quite reasonable. This hotel also features a 9th floor restaurant which looks out over the city.  Two very different hotels, but both quite pleasant and not likely to tear a hole in the budget too badly!

Another hotel in Jeddah is the Al-Barraq at Khalid bin Walid Street, in the district of Al-ruwais. This is a small hotel with well-furnished rooms offering great character and excellent value. To the north of Jeddah, at North Corniche, is the Hotel Al-Bilad, three and a half miles from the centre of town and especially known for its cosy ambiance.  It has a delightful veranda which is fully covered and, in summer, is air conditioned, glimpses of the sea and exquisitely landscaped gardens full of birds. Addition to this hotel’s charm is its own in-hotel bakery – need I say more? That’s exactly where I’d stay!

Traveling to Mecca, the Al Kadesia Hotel situated on A Jaiad Street, is a four-star hotel with 198 beautifully furnished rooms and some quite opulent suites. The hotel is located within fairly close proximity of a number of shopping malls which should keep the shopaholics amongst you fully occupied. Another amazing hotel in Mecca is the Yamama Hotel, with its entrance fronting Shoab Amer Street. It is a towering four star hotel, quite elegant with many features you would expect in any modern hotel such as air conditioning and mini fridge. Each room has a safe deposit box and a kitchenette for residents’ use plus television in every room and satellite channels available for those who have worn themselves out visiting the many shopping complexes not too far away.

So when traveling to Saudi Arabia, you can be sure about the wide range of high class and luxury hotels available in this beautiful country, when booking online you can get affordable prices for!
